Newton't First Law of Motion

Mrs. Thomason taught children about Newton's first law of motion: A body at rest tends to stay at rest until another outside force acts upon it. To illustrate the point, three eggs were set up on a pie tin which was knocked out from under them, dropping them into a glass of water.
