This is not your typical summer school, rather a series of learning adventures designed with fun in mind. Elementary children, grades pre-school through third will attend at the Burton Elementary School, while grades four through eight will attend at the Madison Middle School. There is no charge for children who qualify.
Dates are June 8 through July 10, (no classes on July 3).
Teacher contract hours are from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Students will arrive at 8:25 and leave at 12:20.
Grades 5-8 at the Middle School will have six adventure rotations
Music activities will be provided at both schools as well.
Middle School teaching staff will include:
4th - Barbara Summers, Jenna Dayton, Diane Perry, and Rebecca Bates.
5th - Josh Wilson, Bonnie Thomason, Judie Dresen, and Kippie Adams.
6th - Mark Bates, Jackie Mitchell, Sandy Damstra, and Chelsea Browning.
7th - George Wilson, Melanie Wade, Judy Miyasaki, and Troy Perry.
8th - Don Holverson, Jon Ziegler, Jerusha Hawkins, and Kelly Gillins.
Lunch will be provided from 12:12 - 12:30
To apply for attendance, contact your child's school principal before May 18, 2009.
